The Pastor's Pen
July/August 2009
Dear Friends,
I want to share some information with you about where we are in our church and where we are headed. We are in a transition mode in the church, filling our pulpit with supply pastors and an interim pastor soon. It is an exciting time for us, as we are in the process of selecting our Pastoral Pulpit Committee.
We as laymen and laywomen of our church, first must seek the face of God to help us in this task. We also need everyone's prayers and co-operation. I am ever mindful of the fact that the word of God clearly states that all Glory, all Honor and all Majesty belong to Him alone. I am amazed at the people in our church stepping up to the plate when we need things done. God will bless those that bless Him.
God has already released good things into your future. When God laid out the plan for your life, He lined up the people, the circumstances and the right breaks. He's already released favor in the supernatural opportunities and divine connections. If you stay in faith each day and be a person of excellence, you'll walk into these appointments of favor. Keep believing, stay focused on the fact that God has already released into our future everything we need to fulfill our destiny. "For to the one who pleases him, God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy." Ecclesiastes 2:26
The highest calling in life is to serve God for the fulfillment of His purpose as outlined in the scriptures and manifested through a faithful member of the body of Christ. God calls every Christian to glorify Him through faithful and inspired service. May God's blessing be with each and every one who faithfully serve him.
